About Us
Recycle Scotland was initially started as a project for The Edinburgh University Settlement (EUS), EUS which has celebrated its centennial in 2005. EUS is a registered charity enhancing the public provision for individuals disadvantaged through disability or circumstance. EUS works with local community and social projects Stepping Stones helping the education and teaching of underprivileged adults learn direct and children.
Recycle Scotland’s main aim is to use unwanted office furniture to benefit local communities, social enterprises, small businesses and charities. We offer this facility to everyone, maximising office furniture re-use and eliminating the quantity going to landfill. We have grown in this ethos to provide a sound business which is ethically bound to protect our environment. While also reducing the operating costs to charities, helping to re train disadvantaged groups and supporting good causes.

The Royal Bank of Scotland:
The Royal Bank of Scotland is our main donator of unwanted furniture. We have diverted over 3,000 tonnes of furniture from Landfill. We have taken this from their decommissioned office and relocation of the new HQ at Gogarburn.
